A brand new start

…with a brand new blog, again. Yes, it´s not my first. In fact, I´ve kind of lost count. I seem to fall in the same trap over and over again. I start out recording memories and collecting inspiration to my heart’s content. A few months down the line I start to wonder if this sort of thing really matters to anyone. Is this interesting enough? Is it worth blogging about? Well, of course it is! It´s my virtual brain, a sanctuary and a junk drawer. I would love it if I could inspire someone and send some good vibes out there but the main reason for blogging is for me. I need to remind myself about this now and again.

So, here I go again.

We are about to start a new exciting chapter in our lives. We´re off house hunting! Trust me, this is a big deal to a couple who´s been refusing to settle down for the past 15 years together. We have been renting apartments in Gothenburg, London, the English countryside and most recently on a tiny island on the west coast of Sweden. We are now looking for a small house a few miles outside Gothenburg and hope to start looking within a month or so. Well, we actually started with a viewing the other weekend but it was a bit of a project. We don´t mind some renovating but the house was barely standing upright.

I will miss the islands and the sea for sure. However, I won´t miss the weather (constantly windy!), the tourists and the ferries we have to use to get here. Instead we are looking forward to walks in the forrest, swimming in lakes and running from bugs. ;)
